Fun Family and Maternity Portrait Session

Awaiting Baby Madelyn

We had so much fun at The Harrel Family’s Maternity session! Even at sunrise, this family was all smiles. Grace is so adorable and she already loves her little sister Madelyn so much and she was not afraid to let us know. Sweet Grace kept us laughing the entire time (kids really do say the darndest things)! I really hope her mama is writing all these things down because Grace will totally love it when she grows up.  Doesn’t this mama-to-be look absolutely stunning? And Grace’s baby blue eyes are just mesmerizing! Maternity portraits are some of Sam and I’s favorite and we totally could have photographed them all day! From their awesome 90’s dance moves to those sweet twirls and kisses, this couple is the definition of love.  You can just can’t help but smile around them.  

I can’t believe it has already been over 2 years since I met Stacy at a mom’s group 4th of July party. We hit it off right away and later I was surprised to find out we were neighbors.  I sure am gonna miss them when they move to Austin next month but we are so excited to meet baby Madelyn and even more excited to be able to take some of her very first pictures! It’s always an honor when mom’s book us and we love when we are asked so early in the pregnancy because we can take our time finding that perfect location and it gives us time to plan together. Planning months in advance really helps us ensure that we will give our clients exactly what they have envisioned. That is our number one goal and the best part of our job is when I see those tender smiles and sometimes tears of joy as they see their photos. Sometimes I even tear up myself, but of course, if you read my weekly blog then you already know that I get emotional over our client’s pictures. Emotional portraits are what we strive to give and our main goal is for our families and couples to look at their portraits and remember the happiness and laughter of that day. One of our son’s favorite things to do is look at photos albums we have made for him together and I can only hope that we can pass on that same happiness to all of our families and couples!

Madelyn June, we can’t wait to meet you. Having a little sister is the best thing in the world! My little sister is my best friend and if I know anything about being a big sister, then I already know that Grace is going to cover you in kisses and we can’t wait to capture those sweet memories!
