A Father’s Day Tribute| San Antonio Family and Wedding Photographer

Happy Father’s Day to our San Antonio Families!

We want to thank all of the wonderful dad’s who have let us photograph them with their babies (and I mean from newborn to giving away their daughters on their wedding day).  I know it’s not your idea of fun for a stranger to pose you and try to make you smile but thank you.  Your children (and grandchildren) will thank you later, I promise. We know how important these moments are and in a life full of chaos of packing lunches, picking up from daycare, bath times, the one more bedtime story plead, flights across the country and endless roadtrips – We thank you for smiling and willingly participating and letting us capture these moments for you! Happy Father’s Day to all dad’s and grandfather’s.  Our thoughts today are especially with the Reiter family who lost their father and grandfather recently due to brain cancer. We know he is with you in spirit today and we are thankful to have been able to call him a friend.

We have compiled a few of our photos with dads, and hope you love it as much as we do! Watch ’til the end for an adorable message- and don’t forget to share and sign up for our upcoming newsletter on our website!!

“What can you say to someone who has always been one of the most essential parts of your world, someone who took you by the hand when you were little, and helped to show the way? What do you say to someone who stood by to help you grow, providing love, strength and support, so you could become the person you are today? What can you say to let him know that he’s the best there is, and that you hope you’ve inherited some of his wisdom and his strength? Maybe you just say – I Love You Dad – and hope he understands” ~ unknown

Grandparents- the best friends we never knew we had!

A family portrait is one of the most priceless heirlooms one can possess.  “Where do I begin”, This is the question I have asked myself for over two weeks since we photographed this sweet family.  This session touched Sam and I’s heart in so many ways.  We were so honored when we were contacted by Katie once again this  year for family portraits; this time the entire family was participating.  Sam and I were happy to capture these sweet grandparents in action just being themselves.  Grandparents are perhaps the most important thing a kid can have in their life.
