Fiesta Themed Quinceañera Portraits | Arneson River Theatre

We couldn’t wait any longer, we have been wanting to post this sweet girls quinceañera portraits for months now! We were so glad she opted to do a portrait session before her big day because not only was her big day absolutely crazy busy but her portraits were stunning! On the day of her quinceañera, things moved fast and she got a few birthday present surprises that prevented us from doing formal portraits with her alone and with her full court- but no big deal she already had these beautiful portraits so there was no need to stress, plus it was so much fun! This is also a benefit to brides, we encourage both our brides and quinceañera clients to consider doing a portrait session before their big day.  Not only does it allow them to take portraits in a stress-free environment without being rushed but it also serves as a trial run for hair and makeup. If you read my blog, then you know the importance of having a preview makeup session prior to your big day (you can read about it in our monthly newsletter later this month or check out my previous blog here).  Another benefit to having a portrait session prior to your big day is timing how long it will take you to get into your dress.  You might think it’s no big deal putting on a gown, but when the big day comes, you don’t want to be stressing out over how to lace up a corset or trying to figure out where those extra buttons go. We were so appreciative that my good friend and amazing makeup artist, Dani Montana was able to come do Lola’s makeup at 5 am for a sunrise portrait session at The Arneson River Theatre in Downtown San Antonio, TX.  Her makeup was absolutely flawless!

Can you believe that both of Lola’s gowns and her Converse shoes were hand painted and brought in from Mexico? Both of her gowns were gorgeous! Every single detail of her quinceañera was absolutely beautiful. Did I mention how talented Lola is? Not only does she have an amazing voice and can sing in both in English and Spanish but can play the violin beautifully.  She has had professional training with some of the top Mariachi coaches in San Antonio. Lola’s mom is the sweetest and we were so honored to have been chosen to document this milestone for her and her family. We cannot wait to be able to share all the details of her big day that was held at Grandberry Hills– we promise, it will be worth the wait!
